प्राकृतिक रबर

परिचय

प्राकृतिक रबर एक नवीकरणीय इलास्टोमर है जो मुख्य रूप से Hevea brasiliensis के लेटेक्स से प्राप्त होता है और इसकी असाधारण लोच, तनाव-प्रेरित क्रिस्टलीकरण, थकान प्रतिरोध और गतिशील सेवा में कम गर्मी निर्माण के लिए मूल्यवान है। यह प्लास्टिक-और-elastomers मूल्य श्रृंखला में एक आधारभूत कच्चा माल बना हुआ है, खासकर जहां बार-बार फ्लेक्सिंग, प्रभाव अवशोषण और उच्च लचीलापन रासायनिक या मौसम प्रतिरोध से अधिक महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

औद्योगिक प्राकृतिक रबर एक एकल सामग्री नहीं है बल्कि ग्रेड और रूपों का एक परिवार है, जिसमें फील्ड लेटेक्स, केंद्रित लेटेक्स, रिब्ड स्मोक्ड शीट, तकनीकी रूप से निर्दिष्ट रबर और कंपाउंड-रेडी बेल्स शामिल हैं। इसका विकास बागान कृषि, वल्कनीकरण रसायन विज्ञान, टायर इंजीनियरिंग और तेजी से स्थिरता चिंताओं जैसे वनों की कटाई का जोखिम, ट्रेसबिलिटी, किसान आजीविका और परिपत्र सामग्री प्रणालियों की आवश्यकता से आकार लिया गया है।

इतिहास और विकास

आधुनिक बहुलक विज्ञान से बहुत पहले प्राकृतिक रबर का उपयोग किया जाता था, उष्णकटिबंधीय पौधों से लेटेक्स के प्रारंभिक स्वदेशी प्रसंस्करण के साथ औद्योगिक उत्पादन से सदियों पहले। आधुनिक उद्योग Hevea brasiliensis बागानों के वैश्विक व्यावसायीकरण और वल्कनीकरण की खोज के बाद विस्तारित हुआ, जिसने एक चिपचिपी, तापमान-संवेदनशील सामग्री को टायर, सील और यांत्रिक वस्तुओं के लिए उपयुक्त एक टिकाऊ इंजीनियरिंग इलास्टोमर में बदल दिया।

ऑटोमोटिव उद्योग के उदय ने प्राकृतिक रबर को रणनीतिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण बना दिया, विशेष रूप से टायरों के लिए, जहां गीली पकड़, दरार प्रतिरोध और गतिशील स्थायित्व का संयोजन सिंथेटिक विकल्पों के साथ पूर्ण रूप से बदलना मुश्किल बना हुआ है। आज, सामग्री सिंथेटिक rubbers के साथ प्रतिस्पर्धा और मिश्रण करती है, लेकिन यह अभी भी उच्च-प्रदर्शन टायर यौगिकों और कई कंपन-नियंत्रण उत्पादों में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।
