Tangshan Zhonghao Chemical Co., Ltd. (唐山中浩化工有限公司; ZHCC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kailuan Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd., established in June 2010 and based in Tangshan Port Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province. It is recognized as a high-tech and specialized chemical enterprise. ZHCC primarily produces POM (polyoxymethylene) and adipic acid, with major projects including a 40,000 t/y POM plant and a 150,000 t/y adipic acid plant. The company also manufactures formaldehyde, nitric acid, cyclohexane, cyclohexanol and other chemical intermediates, and supports downstream engineering plastics and nylon 6,6 value chains. Around 840 employees operate its integrated manufacturing base, and the company reported 2022 revenue of approximately 2.73 billion RMB.
