दो रोल मिलें

परिचय

टू-रोल मिल्स खुली कंपाउंडिंग मशीनें हैं जो रबर, इलास्टोमर्स, चयनित थर्मोप्लास्टिक्स और संबंधित पॉलीमर यौगिकों को मिश्रित करने, मैस्टिकेट करने, शीयर करने और शीट बनाने के लिए अलग-अलग गति से घूमने वाले दो क्षैतिज रूप से विपरीत रोल्स का उपयोग करती हैं। प्लास्टिक प्रसंस्करण में, वे प्रयोगशाला कंपाउंडिंग, पिगमेंट डिस्पर्शन, PVC और EVA फॉर्मूलेशन, शीट तैयारी और छोटे-बैच विकास कार्य में विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हैं, जबकि रबर प्रसंस्करण में वे मैस्टिकेशन, एडिटिव इंकॉर्पोरेशन और क्वालिटी कंट्रोल के लिए एक क्लासिक टूल बने हुए हैं।

टू-रोल मिल का मुख्य मूल्य कंप्रेशन, शीयर और मैनुअल या सेमी-ऑटोमैटिक फोल्ड-एंड-कट रिसर्कुलेशन के संयोजन में निहित है, जो ऑपरेटर्स को डिस्पर्शन, तापमान इतिहास और शीट मोटाई पर सीधा नियंत्रण प्रदान करता है। हालांकि मशीन आधुनिक आंतरिक मिक्सर्स और ट्विन-स्क्रू एक्सट्रूडर्स की तुलना में तकनीकी रूप से सरल है, फिर भी यह बहुमुखी, संचालन में पारदर्शी और फॉर्मूलेशन स्क्रीनिंग तथा प्रक्रिया विकास के लिए प्रभावी होने के कारण व्यापक रूप से उपयोग की जाती है।

टू-रोल मिल्स कई रूपों में मौजूद हैं, जिनमें छोटे रोल व्यास वाली प्रयोगशाला मिल्स, गर्म या ठंडी मिल्स, क्रोम-प्लेटेड या चिल्ड आयरन रोल्स, और रबर तथा थर्मोप्लास्टिक यौगिकों के लिए उत्पादन-उन्मुख ओपन मिक्सिंग मिल्स शामिल हैं।
