引言
高抗冲 聚苯乙烯 (HIPS) 是一种橡胶改性的苯乙烯类热塑性塑料，旨在保留 聚苯乙烯 的易加工性和低成本，同时大幅提升韧性和抗冲击性能。它广泛用于包装、消费品、电器外壳、电子产品和热成型部件，在这些应用中，刚度、表面质量和可模塑性的平衡比高耐热性或耐化学性更重要。
HIPS 通常通过将弹性体相（最常见的是 聚丁二烯 橡胶或苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物）引入 聚苯乙烯 基体中制成，形成一种非均相形态，通过银纹和剪切带形成来耗散冲击能量。这种结构使 HIPS 成为最重要的抗冲击改性商品塑料之一，尤其适用于对成本敏感且需要比通用 聚苯乙烯 更高耐用性的应用。

HIPS 源于抗冲击改性苯乙烯类聚合物的更广泛开发，旨在克服纯 聚苯乙烯 的脆性。关键突破是在热塑性基体中分散橡胶颗粒，这一策略成为在不牺牲苯乙烯类加工优势的情况下提升抗冲击性能的标准途径。

橡胶相会产生局部应力集中，当材料受到冲击时会引发耗能银纹和剪切带。这就是为什么 HIPS 比未改性 聚苯乙烯 显著更韧，同时仍保持相对刚性的原因。
典型商用配方显示富 聚苯乙烯 相的玻璃化转变温度接近 100°C，而热变形温度通常远低于工程塑料在高温使用场合的预期水平。因此，HIPS 最好被视为一种韧化商品聚合物，而非高耐热工程树脂。
实际限制与应对措施
- 耐热性差 → 无定形苯乙烯基体在中等温度下软化 → 用于较低使用温度场合，添加阻燃或热稳定配方，或在持续受热关键时改用 ABS、PP、PC 或增强聚合物。
- 对多种溶剂和油类的耐化学性差 → 苯乙烯基体可能被侵蚀性化学品攻击或产生应力开裂 → 使用防护 涂层，限制与不相容化学品的接触，或选择更耐化学品的聚合物如 PP、PE 或专用工程塑料。
- 户外/UV 耐久性有限 → 未防护的 HIPS 在长期 UV 暴露下会降解 → 使用 UV 稳定剂、颜料、表面 涂层，或避免长期户外暴露。
- 阻隔性能低于多层包装材料 → 该聚合物不是高阻隔树脂 → 与阻隔层、涂层 结合，或在氧气或香气保持重要时选择 PET、含 EVOH 的结构或其他阻隔包装系统。
