परिचय

चेन एक्सटेंडर्स कम-आणविक-भार वाले प्रतिक्रियाशील यौगिक हैं जिनका उपयोग पॉलिमर आणविक भार बढ़ाने, आणविक वास्तुकला बनाने और पॉलिमर निर्माण या पुनर्चक्रण के दौरान अंतिम प्रदर्शन सुधारने के लिए किया जाता है। व्यवहार में, यह शब्द सबसे अधिक एडिटिव्स को संदर्भित करता है पॉलीयुरेथेन, पॉलिएस्टर जैसे PET और PLA, और पुनर्चक्रित पॉलिमर स्ट्रीम के लिए, जहां वे चेन एंड्स के साथ प्रतिक्रिया करके मेल्ट स्ट्रेंथ, टफनेस और प्रोसेसेबिलिटी को बहाल करते हैं।
