परिचय

संपीड़न मोल्डिंग मशीनें और ट्रांसफर मोल्डिंग मशीनें बंद-मोल्ड प्रेस हैं जिनका मुख्य रूप से थर्मोसेट प्लास्टिक, इलास्टोमर्स, और फाइबर-प्रबलित कंपोजिट के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। संपीड़न मोल्डिंग में, एक मापा गया चार्ज सीधे खुले गर्म कैविटी में रखा जाता है और फिर आकार और क्यूर करने के लिए दबाया जाता है; ट्रांसफर मोल्डिंग में, सामग्री को पहले एक अलग चैंबर में गर्म किया जाता है और फिर रनर्स के माध्यम से बंद कैविटी में मजबूर किया जाता है, जो आमतौर पर फिल नियंत्रण, इंसर्ट एनकैप्सुलेशन और आयामी सटीकता में सुधार करता है।

इतिहास और विकास

संपीड़न मोल्डिंग रबर और थर्मोसेट रेजिन के लिए प्रयुक्त प्रारंभिक हॉट-प्रेस फॉर्मिंग विधियों से विकसित हुई, औद्योगिक अपनाने का विस्तार तब हुआ जब गर्म हाइड्रोलिक प्रेस और मैच्ड मेटल मोल्ड अधिक विश्वसनीय और दोहराए जाने योग्य हो गए।

ट्रांसफर मोल्डिंग संपीड़न मोल्डिंग के परिशोधन के रूप में विकसित हुई, सामग्री प्लास्टिसाइजेशन को कैविटी फिलिंग से अलग करके। उस बदलाव ने अधिक जटिल ज्यामिति को संसाधित करना, नाजुक इंसर्ट की रक्षा करना और विद्युत हाउसिंग और सेमीकंडक्टर एनकैप्सुलेशन पैकेज जैसे भागों में सख्त आयामी नियंत्रण प्राप्त करना संभव बनाया।

एक प्रमुख आधुनिक मील का पत्थर बेहतर प्लेटन मार्गदर्शन, दबाव नियंत्रण और तापमान ज़ोनिंग के साथ हाइड्रोलिक प्रेस सिस्टम की वृद्धि रही है। समानांतर में, कंपोजिट और निरंतर संपीड़न प्रसंस्करण के लिए विशेष लाइनों ने क्लासिक बैच प्रेस से परे सामग्रियों और चक्र रणनीतियों की सीमा का विस्तार किया है।
