مقدمة

اللدائن الحرارية ذات الألياف الطويلة thermoplastics هي مركبات لدائن حرارية هيكلية يتم فيها تعزيز مصفوفة لدائن حرارية بألياف طويلة غير مستمرة، عادةً من الزجاج أو الكربون، لتحقيق توازن بين الصلابة العالية والقوة ومقاومة الصدمات مع الاحتفاظ بإمكانية التشكيل بواسطة عمليات اللدائن الحرارية الصناعية. في الممارسة العملية، يشمل المصطلح كلاً من LFT وLFRT، وتُوضع المواد على نطاق واسع بين مركبات الألياف القصيرة والمركبات ذات الألياف المستمرة من حيث الأداء وقابلية المعالجة.

هذه المواد مهمة لأنها تتيح استراتيجيات استبدال المعادن وتخفيف الوزن في الأجزاء المنتجة بكميات كبيرة دون التخلي عن أوقات الدورة وإمكانية إعادة التدوير المرتبطة بـ thermoplastics. تعتمد معظم الدرجات التجارية على polypropylene، polyamide، PBT، PPS، PC، أو مصفوفات عالية الأداء، مدمجة مع glass fiber، carbon fiber، أو في بعض الأنظمة natural fibers.

ظهرت اللدائن الحرارية ذات الألياف الطويلة thermoplastics من التطور الأوسع للبلاستيك المقوى بالألياف، خاصة البحث عن مركبات يمكن تشكيلها في معدات لدائن حرارية قياسية مع تفوقها على مركبات الألياف القصيرة. كان نموها الصناعي مدفوعًا بقطاع السيارات، حيث احتاج المصنعون إلى أجزاء هيكلية أخف وزنًا مع تحسن في أداء التصادم والإجهاد، لكنهم أرادوا أيضًا أوقات دورة أقصر من أنظمة التراكب التقليدية ذات الألياف المستمرة.

كانت خطوة تكنولوجية رئيسية هي إنتاج الحبيبات القائم على السحب المستمر، حيث يتم تشريب حزم الألياف المستمرة ببوليمر منصهر ثم تقطيعها إلى حبيبات أو خيوط بطول متحكم فيه. تحافظ هذه العملية على طول الألياف بشكل أفضل بكثير من الخلط التقليدي، مما يسمح للجزء النهائي المقولب بالاحتفاظ بهيكل تعزيزي بعد القولبة بالحقن أو القولبة بالضغط.

ركز التطوير الأحدث على عمليات مباشرة مثل LFT-D، حيث يتم تغذية البوليمر وadditives والألياف في نظام خطي وقولبتها دون خطوة تحبيب وسيطة. وقد أدى ذلك إلى تقليل خطوات مناولة المواد وتحسين كفاءة التكلفة للأجزاء الهيكلية الكبيرة، خاصة في تطبيقات السيارات والنقل.
