مقدمة

البولي أميد الحيوي polyamide (bio-PA) هي عائلة من اللدائن الحرارية الهندسية thermoplastics التي يأتي فيها بعض أو كل المونومرات من الكتلة الحيوية المتجددة بدلاً من البتروكيماويات المشتقة من الوقود الأحفوري. في الممارسة الصناعية، يشير bio-PA عادة إلى نفس كيمياء polyamide المستخدمة في النايلون التقليدي، ولكن يتم إنتاجها من الديامينات الحيوية، والأحماض الثنائية، والأحماض الأمينية، أو اللاكتامات، مع الدرجات التجارية الرئيسية بما في ذلك PA 11، وPA 10.10، وPA 10.12، وPA 6.10، وPA 6.12، وPA 4.10، وPA 5.10، وPA 6.19، ومتغيرات أحدث جزئياً حيوية من PA 6 وPA 66.
