परिचय

सफेद pigments अकार्बनिक या खनिज-आधारित colorants हैं जो दृश्य प्रकाश को कुशलता से बिखेरने के कारण सफेद दिखाई देते हैं बजाय इसे चुनिंदा रूप से अवशोषित करने के। प्लास्टिक और अन्य औद्योगिक सामग्रियों में, उनकी मुख्य भूमिकाएँ सफेदी, अपारदर्शिता, चमक, यूवी स्क्रीनिंग प्रदान करना और कुछ मामलों में सुदृढ़ीकरण या गहरे colorants के विस्तार और तनुकरण के माध्यम से लागत में कमी करना है।

इतिहास और विकास
