डायटोमेसियस अर्थ

परिचय

किजेलगुहर एक स्वाभाविक रूप से पाई जाने वाली, अत्यधिक छिद्रपूर्ण डायटोमाइट का रूप है, जिसे डायटोमेशियस अर्थ भी कहा जाता है, जो मुख्य रूप से जीवाश्म डायटम के सिलिकीय कंकालों से बना होता है। प्लास्टिक और सहायक सामग्री मूल्य श्रृंखला में, इसका उपयोग मुख्य रूप से फिलर, एंटी-ब्लॉक एजेंट और फंक्शनल एक्सटेंडर के रूप में किया जाता है, जबकि आसन्न उद्योगों में इसे निस्पंदन सहायता, absorbent और थर्मल इंसुलेटर के रूप में अधिक जाना जाता है।

इसका औद्योगिक महत्व कम थोक घनत्व, उच्च छिद्रता, रासायनिक रूप से निष्क्रिय चरित्र और बड़े आंतरिक सतह क्षेत्र के संयोजन से आता है, जो इसे पॉलिमर, coatings, रबर, निर्माण सामग्री और रासायनिक प्रणालियों में प्रसंस्करण और प्रदर्शन-वर्धक भूमिकाओं में उपयोगी बनाता है। साथ ही, किजेलगुहर व्यापक स्थिरता चर्चा का हिस्सा है क्योंकि यह खनिज-आधारित है, जमा से खनन किया जाता है और आमतौर पर बायोडिग्रेडेबल नहीं होता, भले ही यह कभी-कभी सामग्री दक्षता में सुधार कर सकता है, घनत्व कम कर सकता है या चयनित फॉर्मूलेशन में अधिक कार्बन-गहन additives को बदल सकता है।

किजेलगुहर उन्नीसवीं सदी में औद्योगिक उपयोग में आया, जब इसके absorbent गुणों का विस्फोटकों और निस्पंदन में दोहन किया गया। सबसे प्रसिद्ध ऐतिहासिक अनुप्रयोग डायनामाइट में नाइट्रोग्लिसरीन के लिए निष्क्रिय absorbent के रूप में है, एक भूमिका जो अल्फ्रेड नोबेल से जुड़ी है और अभी भी अक्सर सामग्री के औद्योगिक इतिहास में उद्धृत की जाती है।
